Privacy notice (Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, "POPIA")
Who we are. Nomad Event Solutions is the responsible party for the personal information in this application.
What we collect. Your name, surname, ID number, date of birth, address, email address, cellphone and WhatsApp numbers, CV, full-length photo, copy of your ID or driver's licence, matric answer, work experience answers, and your next of kin's name and cellphone number.
Why. To assess your application, confirm your identity and age, contact you, place you at events and, if you work for us, pay you and meet our legal duties (for example labour, tax, safety and liquor-licence requirements).
Giving it is voluntary, but we cannot consider your application without it.
Next of kin. Please make sure your next of kin knows we hold their name and number, and that we may contact them in an emergency.
Who sees it. Only our recruitment and management team, who need it to do their work. We do not sell your information. We share it with others only when the law requires it, or when an event venue or organiser needs your name and ID number for access or accreditation at an event you will work at.
Where and how it is kept. In a restricted, secured system hosted in South Africa (Johannesburg). Access is limited by role and the opening of ID documents is logged.
How long. While you are an active applicant or staff member. We delete it when you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights. You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before).
